CASE SERIES: Case 2 – 65-Year-Old Man with Metastatic Kidney Cancer in Complete Remission After Stopping Chemo

STORY:
In 2018, a 65-year-old man with clear cell renal cell carcinoma underwent nephrectomy. Later developed lung metastases (4 mm & 5 mm nodules). He was treated with:

  • Axitinib (targeted therapy) and Pembrolizumab (immunotherapy)

However, he experienced serious side effects and discontinued treatment in 2020. Then started:

  • Oral CDS
  • Absorption enema CDS
  • Reduced protein diet

RESULTS:

  • Nodules initially grew under chemo (up to 12 mm)
  • After CDS, nodules shrunk and stabilized
  • By 2023: complete remission58-month follow-up, living a normal life

MY TAKE:
When standard treatments failed or caused toxicity, CDS and lifestyle change alone reversed lung metastases. This is a striking example of metabolic and redox-based cancer control.
